Style Spotlight: Romantic

Everybody has their own style. Some integrate many different style to create their own look. One pure style that I love and use myself is the Romantic look. This includes many florals, pastels, tans, lace, and sweet simple-ftting clothes. Taylor Swift is a perfect example of a celeb with a romantic style and I love it!

Romance in Paris

This is a darling outfit that is obviously romantic-inspired and definitely chic when paired with a cute channel clutch with a gold chain and rose peep-toe heels. We all can dream we're in Paris, can't we?

Romantic

This is another, very similar, romantic set that is just so sweet. I love this strappy heels because they are so versatile and can be worn with an edgy or romantic outfit and are so addicting as you probably noticed them in many of my sets on Polyvore. This purse is similar to the channel bag and the rose accessories are also a major trend among romantic styles. What I love about this outfit is the airy high-low/dip-hem/ whatever-you-want-to-call-it bandeau dress with the sweet heart neckline; it's the perfect color and is so easy breezy chic.

Sweety

So how do you actually wear this style without appearing too fancy or imaginative? Simply google "Taylor Swift style" on google and you'll get a wealth of inspiration. Or you could turn to me and I'll help. Flowy skirts are a must and almost anything dusty pink. Pops of pink in a bag and shoe is so cute like in the outfit above. The high waisted skirt creates the illusion that your legs start higher than they do to create an elongated silhouette. The high-wasited skirt also provides the perfect amount of skin showing when matched with the floral bandeau top. The addition of a light-colored leather jacket adds a sublet edginess to such a sweet outfit. To finish it off, opt for irrevocable bunk shoes with an ankle strap or embellished booties.

Brunch date

I chose to end this post with this one last outfit because it come-what repeats items we have already used to show that there are so many possibilities when creating this type of look with items you already own. Wear this outfit to a brunch date or even running errands. This monochromatic look has color blocking with the blazer and skirt an seven in the trendy day clutch. And hey, there's those stripy heels again. A statement necklace goes perfectly with a plain chiffon tank to complete the look.

I came across this quote and it really sums up what I'm convinced of too:

"I believe that fashion is the ultimate form if self expression therefore it really depends on my mood."
~Nicole Richie

Whatever your mood is today, tomorrow, or anytime in the future, dress accordingly and just be yourself. Have fun with fashion and try new styles- and try incorporating romantic-inspired pieces into your wardrobe!

So tell me, what is your style? :)
